Home inspector

First time having an inspection done and I thought it was very thorough and informative. Jessie didn't just give me a bunch of papers, she showed me everything she found and gave me tips on how to handle it all. I was very overwhelmed at first, but she talked me thru it all and made me feel alot better. She was great. Would highly recommend her.

We had a great experience with Optima Home Inspections. Matt was very professional and educated us on what the radon levels in our home meant. We had our home tested for radon when we purchased it nearly 2 years ago and lost the report so we thought we better get our home tested again. We are very grateful we did and happy we found Optima!

Shane at Magic City Inspections LLC is a very knowledgeable inspector. He was thorough with every detail that came up throughout the inspection. He let us walk along beside him and ask thousands of questions! His report was nice and easy to read with all the dangerous/important things to fix in their own tab so they were easy to find. I highly recommend Shane and if I ever need a home inspection again I will give him a call.

Empire Home Inspection was exactly what I needed while deciding to buy my house. I got a detailed report citing both minor and major concerns, and the walk-through with Joe was thorough and professional. Wow all the reviews saying these guys were thorough weren't lying! Jordan and Russell went over our home with a fine tooth comb. They answered any questions that we had thoughtfully, and fully. North 49 then sent us a very well laid out inspection report that delineated where the problems were, and their severity. Great job gang.

We would recommend this company. The inspector was very professional and did a thorough inspection. The report was complete and and delivered within the promised time frame. If/when needed we would definitely ask for their services.

Recently had Jules and Craig complete a home inspection. As a first time home buyer, I was impressed. The final report was extensive and included lots of photos and recommendations. Craig took the time to explain to me the findings at the end of the inspection, answered any questions I may have had, and provided some very good recommendations for when I move in. Chad provided a very thorough inspection of the property and took the time to explain to me the issues which were discovered. He was courteous and respectful of the property. He is trustworthy and seemed experienced. He was punctual and quick to get to work, but willing to take the time to explain what he saw to me. I'm happy to have hired him.

I paid for a building inspection for an out of province property. I wanted moisture and electrical testing done on the property as well. I upgraded the package to include this. It took from Tuesday, day of inspection until the Friday same week to get the 3D images and room sizes by email. Inspection report arrived the Wednesday which was quick. To my surprise the report noted lead piping, as the water line, improper electrical wiring and two roof replacements were immediately required. The roofs were, house and garage, I needed time to acquire costs associated with these repairs. Had to contact the city department and they required water testing which takes weeks to get back. I was to close in the following Tuesday and was being pressured to make a decision to close before the needed costs totals came in. I was offered $3,000 off the purchase price. The repairs would cost thousands more than that. The seller would have made only $7,000 on the sale and wasn't willing to reduce further. I walked away. The property was relisted. I supplied the building inspection report to the real estate agent who relisted the property. It cost me $775.00 for the inspection. Which I took the loss on payment of the inspection. But the cost of repairs immediately needed were out of my budget. The choice to include the building inspection is a choice, I'm glad I made.
